Referring to the official writing of Istanbul Province Immigration Office dated on 21st of March 2022, a new regulation has come into effect on 28th of March 2022. Based on this regulation, the fingerprints of the foreign national students, that want to apply for the residence permits, have to be taken within the context of protocol done by between Provincial Directorate of Migration and YOK (Council of Higher Education) starting from 28th of March, 2022. Therefore, to apply for the residence permit, please apply to the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Immigration personally. Address: Hırka-i Şerif Mahallesi Adnan Menderes Bulvarı No:64, 34091 Fatih/İstanbul.

 

 

The Migration Office in Istanbul is only responsible for the fingerprint process so all foreign national students have to present their documents to this Immigration Office in Fatih, Istanbul. Please read and review the information and update/announcements on the website of Migration Office carefully. The process of residence permit application is the responsibility of the student.

UPDATE: Besides the Province Immigration Office Centre at Fatih; Centres at Kumkapı, Esenyurt, Pendik and Sultanbeyli also can handle the fingerprints process so you can apply for a residence permit via those centres.
