Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all units were switched into flexible working hours. Our offices are closed for all visits. For any questions, please send an email. Please read carefully all of the information below and check where to email to direct your questions to the correct unit.

Residence Permit: International Students Unit has no authority or responsibility during the residence permit process. Any e-mails regarding the residence permit that you send to our unit will not be considered. For residence permit, please check: http://www.ytuinternational.yildiz.edu.tr

Student Certificate: After your student numbers are announced, you can request a student certificate via e-devlet or from Secretary of your Faculty. (It doesn't matter if you're a foreign national, the process is the same for all students.)

IYS - English Proficiency Exam: Newly registered students must submit a TÖMER C1 certificate and those who cannot provide tömer proficiency cannot take the IYS exam. Students enrolled in 100% English programs are not required to submit a TÖMER certificate for the IYS exam.

 

Foreign students who have studied at least 1 year in MEB schools, students who have blue cards, and Turkish nationals are not asked for a TÖMER certificate. 

 

Students do not need to register for the IYS exam. Lists of students who will take the IYS exam will be published on the website of the School of Foreign Languages in the following days.

Online Registration: If you encounter an error in the application system, briefly describe your problem by taking screenshots. The e-mail you send must include your first name, last name, department, candidate number, online registration code, etc. Documents that you upload to the system are not accepted by mail, you just have to upload them to the system. Due to the density of the office, your mail cannot be replied instantly, but your mail is evaluated depending on the density within 3 business days. Mail: admissions@yildiz.edu.tr

 

Pre-registration link: https://e-ogrenci.yildiz.edu.tr/admissions / be sure to check the application dates, you cannot create a ‘new application’ after the system shuts down. Only for students who get ‘update’ email through the system, the system may remain open for a very short time.

 

For Turkish Nationals and those with dual citizenship: Please check the link carefully. If you do not have the appropriate conditions, you cannot use the foreign student quota and your registration will be rejected. Submission Date of Registration Documents (Final Registration): Submission Date of Registration Documents (Final Registration depends on the Covid-19 Pandemic situation and the dates will be announced on admissions.yildiz.edu.tr. In case you are unable to deliver the documents in person at the file submission dates, your notarized representative can deliver the documents on your behalf. Document submission dates are not clear yet because of the pandemic.
